Vous voulez des chiffres?
Le Prix du "starter kit" tout compris: 4000$ !!!

Non, ce n'est pas trop cher même pour une centaine de maisons et ça doublerait les distances !!!!!

Un témoignage:
Kevin Karlin, Central Office Tech, Rural Telephone
"Dennis my supervisor had called me and stated that he found some new ADSL repeaters that he wanted me to test.
He wanted to see if we could get to some of the customers in the outlying areas.
Most of our exchanges are relatively small and we have lots of rural customers.
We knew to get the most range we would have to use 22 guage cable.
We installed the first GoLong ALE-R at 18,190 ft.
We hooked up a modem right there to see if we would link up or not.
It linked up and we downloaded at just over 100kps.
That would be a linkup of approximately 800k.
We then installed the next GoLong ALE-R at 35,450 ft.
Did the same test here with the modem.
It linked up and we downloaded at about 80kps.
We then took the modem out to the last pedestal before the subscribers house.
This pedestal is 59,450 ft from the Central Office.
This was approximately 24,000 of end section.
We linked up the modem again. We downloaded here at 50kps.
It's download rate was 480k and up was 320k.
The next day we installed the modem in the subs house and it linked up.
This would total over 60,000 ft from the Central Office.
We did the download test again to see if we would lose any more bandwidth and it downloaded at 55kps.
This would be a linkup of approximately 400k.
We are currently offering our customers a 128k DSL connection.
At this rate if they want to upgrade they will still be able to double or triple their rate if they want."
